MW 569.6 Da, Purity >=98%. A potent, and reversible acetyl-CoA carboxylase (ACC) inhibitor; inhibits human ACC1 and ACC2 with IC₅₀ values of 2.1 and 6.1 nM, respectively. When administered chronically to Zucker diabetic fatty rats, ND-630 reduces hepatic steatosis, improves glucose-stimulated insulin secretion, and reduces hemoglobin A1c (0.9% reduction).

These Jenway 73 series single-beam spectrophotometers have improved optics resulting in a narrow spectral bandwidth of 5 nm and absorbance range of 0.3 to 2.5 A. All models feature measurement modes for absorbance, % transmittance, and concentration. Advanced models add spectrum scanning, quantitation, and kinetics. Visible spectrum models have a tungsten halogen lamp with a "lamp save" feature which shuts off the lamp after periods of inactivity.
